Currently serving as Head of Digital Commerce, Culture & Lifestyle at the Department for Business and Trade, Jamila oversees initiatives that promote UK brands globally, emphasizing digital commerce in their international strategies. In previous roles, including Global Head of Digital Exporting Programme & Ecommerce Marketing and Director of the GREAT Trade Campaign, Jamila has successfully driven B2B demand for British goods and services through strategic marketing initiatives. Additional experience includes positions at Lloyds Banking Group, Merrill Lynch, Grant Thornton, and Miller Insurance Services LLP, complemented by an MA in Marketing Communications and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management. Jamila also serves on the WMG Brand Advisory Board, contributing insights to enhance brand strategies.
