Claire Nakabugo is an Associate Scientific Officer at the World Meteorological Organization since July 2021, specializing in hydrology and water resources management with a focus on socio-hydrology, flood forecasting, and the Water Energy Food Ecosystems Nexus. Prior to this role, Claire worked as a Climate Resilience and Adaptation Consultant at Oxenu and served in various capacities at the International Hydropower Association, including Research and Policy Consultant and Research & Policy Intern. Academic qualifications consist of a Master's degree in Water Science, Policy and Management from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from Makerere University.
