World Meteorological Organization
Yuki Honda serves as the Chief of Section for the WMO Integrated Processing and Prediction System (WIPPS) at the World Meteorological Organization since April 2009, having previously been involved in various leadership roles focused on data processing and forecasting systems. Prior to this, Yuki Honda worked at the Japan Meteorological Agency from April 2006 to February 2021, where responsibilities included Head of the Office of Research and Development and leadership positions in numerical weather prediction modeling and mesoscale modeling. Yuki Honda holds a Master of Science in Earth and Planetary Physics (Meteorology) and a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics, both from The University of Tokyo.
