Gareth Hamer is an experienced telecommunications professional with a diverse background in business development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Carrier Services at World Mobile Group since June 2021, Gareth plays a key role in expanding connectivity in Zanzibar, Tanzania, and Kenya through innovative technologies. Previous experience includes significant positions as a shareholder at Charles Ware Group, partner at Ecotec Partners Ltd, and Business Development Manager at Marathon Telecom, contributing to various telecom projects and acquisitions. Gareth has also held leadership roles at Gamma Telecom, Optimal Communications, and ACOTEC, alongside a foundation in engineering and business from the University of Bath, Henley Business School, and the University of the West of England.
