Carine Cavallier

Carine Cavallier is an experienced professional specializing in ESG and sustainability. Currently serving as the Head of ESG at Atradius since January 2023, Carine also holds an associate role in Blue Finance at the World Ocean Council, focusing on sustainable maritime tourism and collaboration with the financial sector. As a Sustainability and ESG Expert at Arian International Projects since March 2022, Carine engages in EU funding proposals and strategy design for SMEs. Previously, Carine directed ESG and Sustainability at Banco Sabadell for over 15 years, where responsibilities included implementing sustainability strategies aligned with SDGs and overseeing corporate policies. Additionally, Carine has academic experience as a lecturer in CSR at the Universitat de Barcelona and a background in financial management with General Electric and legal expertise at Citibank. Carine's educational credentials include an LLM in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick, alongside postgraduate studies in Environmental Law from institutions in Madrid and Buenos Aires.
