Keith Hamilton

Keith Hamilton is a seasoned professional in emergency management and international veterinary medicine, currently serving as Head of Preparedness and Resilience at the World Organisation for Animal Health since October 2017. Previously, as Executive Director of International Programs at Kansas State University, Keith developed an international program and established partnerships with veterinary colleges globally while promoting sustainable practices. Earlier experience includes roles at the World Organisation for Animal Health, focusing on capacity building and animal disease control, and as a Senior Policy Adviser at Defra, where policy development for veterinary diseases was prioritized. Keith began a diverse veterinary career in mixed animal practice and has advanced academic qualifications in control of infectious diseases and project management.
