Beatriz Candeias

Beatriz Candeias is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in diversity, inclusion, and humanitarian action, currently serving as a Manager at the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) since April 2018. In this role, Beatriz leads strategy and project development, focusing on gender equality and girls' empowerment, and conducts trainings and workshops. Beatriz also supports diversity and inclusion strategies across 169 countries, coordinating with UN Women to enhance resources related to gender equality. Additionally, Beatriz serves as an International Correspondent for CNN Portugal since December 2021 and has held various roles in educational and architectural organizations. Beatriz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science with a focus on Strategic Communication from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
