Subhra Nag began their career in 2007 as a Lab Instructor and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Louisiana Tech University. In 2012, they moved to Cleveland State University where they served as a Lab Instructor and Teaching Assistant. In this role, Subhra was responsible for lab instruction and supervision, maintenance of safe lab practices, preparation of study and examination materials and experimental samples, administering lab exams, grading and posting grades, and training of new Teaching Assistants. Subhra also taught a variety of lab techniques, such as aseptic transfers, staining techniques, microscopy, wet mounts, and bacterial isolation and identification tests. Subhra was awarded two teaching awards from their institution and was nominated for an external teaching award from the Midwestern Association for Graduate Students (MAGS). In 2018, Subhra joined World Precision Instruments, LLC. as a Sr. Product Manager and Technical Support Specialist, where they managed optical and amperometric sensor products, microscopy products, transepithelial electrical resistance (TEER) measuring electrodes and voltmeter, automated TEER system: REMS. Pico, nano, and micro-liter volume injection systems, and glass micropipette puller.
Subhra Nag has a diverse educational background. Subhra completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Regulatory Biology with Specialization in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from Cleveland State University between 2012 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Clemson University between 2010 and 2012. Subhra Nag also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Molecular Sciences and Nanotechnology from Louisiana Tech University, which they obtained between 2007 and 2009. Finally, they have a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Biotechnology from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, which they completed between 2003 and 2007. Additionally, Subhra Nag has obtained several certifications from The Wharton School (Offered through Coursera) and Politecnico di Milano (Offered through Coursera) between 2021 and 2021.
