George Carizey

George Carizey began their career in 2008 as a Community Impact Manager at the United Way of the Quad Cities Area. George then moved on to serve as the Executive Director at QC Haven of Hope from 2020 to 2021. Following this, they held the position of President and CEO at Starved Rock Country Community Foundation from 2021 to 2023. Most recently, they served as the DPM Illinois RA 4 at the American Red Cross from 2022 to 2023 before becoming the Director of Development and Outreach at World Relief in 2023.

George Carizey attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1984 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a focus on Community Development and Recreation.
