Carolina Astri is a Gender, Equity, and Social Inclusion Analyst at the World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia since January 2022, focusing on the involvement of women and youth in natural resource management and developing social forestry business plans. Carolina also participates in the Women Earth Alliance Grassroots Accelerator Program as one of 27 selected women leaders in Indonesia. Previous roles at WRI include Conflict Transformation Analyst and Assistant, conducting assessments and research for forest planning and conflict resolution initiatives. Carolina's academic background includes a Master's degree in Anthropology and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Universitas Gadjah Mada. Additionally, Carolina has experience with various organizations, including Yayasan Kampung Halaman and a collaborative project assessing land tenure conflicts with WG-Tenure.
