Krishna Putra has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Krishna began their career as an Assistant Controller at ASPAC Bank in 1994 and held this position until 1996. From 1999 to 2005, Krishna worked at the Indonesia Bank Restructuring Agency, initially as a Deputy Manager and later as Deputy Senior Manager in the Internal Audit Division. In 2005, they joined Save the Children in Indonesia as the Operations Director, responsible for supporting projects and coordinating with various government and donor organizations. Krishna then moved on to work at the World Bank as a Senior Resource Management Officer from 2012 to 2015, managing the resource management unit in the Indonesia Country Office. Prior to their current role, Krishna worked at The ASEAN Secretariat as the Chief Internal Auditor from November 2015 to July 2016, establishing and implementing risk assessment strategies for the organization. Since 2016, they have been serving as the Operations Director at the World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia, where they are responsible for developing operations strategy and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve goals.
Krishna Putra completed a Bachelor of Economics in Accounting from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) from 1989 to 1994. Following that, from 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Commerce in Accounting at the University of Sydney. In 1998, Krishna Putra attended the University of Technology Sydney, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in International Business in 1999. Additionally, in December 2013, they obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants. Lastly, in November 2019, Krishna Putra completed the Project Analyst certification from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia.
