Sofwan Hakim is a seasoned professional in project management and social development, currently serving as the Senior Lead of the Project Management Unit at the World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia since January 2023. Previously, Sofwan held various roles such as Social Development Specialist at the World Bank Group, Manager of Participatory Land Use Planning at the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and Program Manager at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Additional experience includes an internship at the Asian Development Bank and a tenure as Program Officer at BAPPENAS, the Indonesian Ministry of National Development Planning. Sofwan's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, a summer program focused on Migration and Multicultural Societies at Korea University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Regional and City Planning from Institut Teknologi Bandung, where honors were achieved.
