Laura Van Wie McGrory is an experienced leader in clean energy and energy efficiency, currently serving as the Global Engagement Lead for Clean Energy at the World Resources Institute since June 2021. As a cofounder of Pacific Clean Energy Partners since July 2020, Laura is dedicated to developing clean energy solutions for the Pacific Islands. Previous roles include Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and International Programs at the Alliance to Save Energy, where Laura led stakeholder collaboration and managed international energy efficiency programs across multiple countries. Laura also held positions at the International Institute for Energy Conservation, Berkeley Lab, and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, contributing significantly to projects focused on renewable energy, climate adaptation, and energy efficiency. Educational qualifications include a Master of International Affairs in Environmental Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College.
