Lauren Zelin

Lauren Zelin is a seasoned communications specialist with extensive experience in environmental sustainability and media relations. Since March 2011, Lauren has served as the Director of Communications and Director of Media Relations and Strategy at the World Resources Institute, focusing on advancing the organization’s mission to protect the earth and improve people's lives. Prior roles include Senior Communications Specialist at SRA International, Manager of Corporate Development and Communications at ClearCarbon Inc., and Senior Account Executive at Edelman, where Lauren concentrated on corporate communications for major clients. Lauren's career began at The Washington Post, assisting a prominent columnist, and Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
