Maria Salinas

Maria Salinas currently serves as the Global Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at the World Resources Institute, starting in January 2024. Previously, Maria was the Director of Global Finance at the Rainforest Alliance from April 2012 to July 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing overall financial reporting and analysis, as well as managing the financial performance of the TREES program. Maria's career began at E+Co, where the role of Finance and Information Technology Manager involved supporting renewable energy entrepreneurs. Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
