Shannon Hilsey Choy

Shannon Hilsey Choy serves as the Knowledge Partnership Project Manager at the World Resources Institute since July 2015, leading a team in corporate advisory work and project management for a $100 million partnership focused on energy transition, industrial decarbonization, nature-based solutions, and green finance. Previous roles at WRI include Project Manager for the Buildings Initiative, overseeing the launch of the Zero Carbon Buildings Accelerator and the Building Efficiency Accelerator partnership, which promotes sustainable building practices in over 25 countries. Choy’s early career involved project coordination and internships related to energy and climate policy, with a strong academic background that includes a Master of Arts in International Affairs from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University.
