Susan Onyango

Susan Onyango currently serves as the Communications and Engagement Director for WRI Africa at the World Resources Institute, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Susan held various positions at World Agroforestry from September 2014 to April 2023, including Global Communications Coordinator and Communications Specialist for climate change. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Communications Officer for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Eastern Africa from May 2013 to August 2014, and as Regional Knowledge Management and Communications Officer at SNV Netherlands Development Organisation from July 2002 to April 2013. Susan Onyango holds a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Kenyatta University.
