Citlali Haro Franco

World Science Scholar at World Science Festival

Citlali Haro Franco is a B.S. Computer Science graduate with a minor in Cybersecurity from Texas A&M University, having also studied at Mission Veterans Memorial High School and The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Currently serving as an HSF Scholar at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund since May 2019, Citlali participates in youth leadership initiatives. As a World Science Scholar, Citlali has been recognized for exceptional mathematical talent while engaging in various academic challenges. Citlali's leadership experience includes roles as Century Scholar at Texas A&M University, Finance Director for the Regents Scholar Society, and president of the Health Occupations Students of America Chapter. Citlali has also volunteered as a Community Emergency Response Team Leader with the City of Mission and mentored students in a Pre-freshman Engineering Program. Notable achievements include co-leading competitive teams in robotics and engineering challenges, alongside managing catering operations at Taquizas Estilo Jalisco.
