Evert-Jan Schouwstra

Evert-Jan Schouwstra is the Managing Director of World Trade Center Leeuwarden/Noord-Nederland (WTC L) since January 2015, where the focus is on supporting companies with international ambitions. Schouwstra also directs the WTC Business Academy, which offers executive courses and training in internationalization. Additional roles include serving on the WTCA Agriculture Advisory Council and the WTCA European Regional Advisory Council, contributing to knowledge sharing among over 325 WTC offices worldwide. Schouwstra is part of the Advisory Board for International Business Research Groningen, a coaching program for new exporters through Starters International Business, and coaches in the International Business Talent program at Hanze Hogeschool. Prior to these positions, Schouwstra has held senior roles at the Kamer van Koophandel and NEC Nederlandse Export Combinatie, specializing in international trade consultancy. Academic credentials include a BA from Windesheim.
