Hui Jian Z.

Dispute Settlement Lawyer at World Trade Organization

Hui Jian Z. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. They started their career as an Intern at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in 2004. In 2005, they worked as an Intern at the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs and Drew & Napier LLC. They also served as a Pupil Barrister at both Fountain Court Chambers and Essex Court Chambers. In 2007, Hui Jian Z. became a Barrister at Sidley Austin LLP for two years. They then moved to Hogan Lovells, where they worked as a Barrister for four years. Following this, they joined Mayer Brown as a Barrister for six months. Currently, Hui Jian Z. works as a Dispute Settlement Lawyer at the World Trade Organization since 2014.

Hui Jian Z. started their education journey in 2001 at the University of Liverpool, where they pursued an LLB degree in English Law. They completed this program in 2004. Following their undergraduate studies, Hui Jian Z. attended the Inns of Court School of Law from 2004 to 2005, where they focused on advocacy and professional training and received a degree in BVC.

In 2006, Hui Jian Z. furthered their education at Sciences Po, where they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration. They completed this program in 2008.

Continuing their academic journey, Hui Jian Z. joined the College of Europe in 2009. There, they focused on Advanced European Law and received an LLM degree in 2010.
