Lissette Nonalaya

Lissette Nonalaya is an experienced Economic Affairs Officer at the World Trade Organization since October 2009, specializing in Market Access Division tasks, including Customs Valuation, Rules of Origin, and Import Licensing. Responsibilities include assisting in meetings, issuing documentation for committee activities, and providing technical advice to traders and international operators. Prior to this role, Lissette served as an Auditor at the Peruvian Customs Service from October 2004 to October 2008, focusing on the inspection and audit of foreign trade operators to ensure compliance with Peruvian Customs Law. Lissette holds a Master of International Law and Economics from the World Trade Institute (2008-2009) and a Law Degree from Universidad de Lima (1997-2002).
