Marina Murina has a varied work experience in the field of trade policy and international economic affairs. Marina started their career as a Consultant at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe in 2011. Marina then worked as a Consultant at UNCTAD from 2013 to 2014. After that, they joined UNCTAD again as an Associate Economic Affairs Officer from 2014 to 2018. Marina then transitioned to the World Trade Organization, where they worked as a Trade Policy Analyst from 2015 to 2020. Marina later moved to the International Trade Centre as a Trade Promotion Officer in Programme Management from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Marina works as a Trade Policy Analyst at the World Trade Organization from 2022 onwards.
Marina Murina has a diverse education history. Marina earned their Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Ural State University named after A.M.Gorky in 2007. In 2006, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a short period of time, where they studied Development in International Political Economy and Global Civil Society. Additionally, in the same year, Marina also attended Stanford University, focusing on Democracy, Development, and Rule of Law. Marina went on to pursue a Master's degree in International Economics, specializing in International Relations and Affairs at Ural State University named after A.M.Gorky from 2006 to 2007. Marina furthered their education by completing a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Sussex from 2007 to 2008. Finally, Marina completed a Master of Science (MSc) in International Economics from the Geneva Graduate Institute from 2009 to 2011.
