Helen Barclay-Hollands is a seasoned professional in humanitarian affairs with extensive experience in program management and strategic leadership. Currently serving as the Head of Fragile and Humanitarian Affairs at World Vision Canada since November 2020, Helen provides leadership in fragile contexts and disaster management while building influence across sectors. Previous roles at World Vision include Director of Humanitarian Programming and Information Management, and Director of the Eastern Zone, where Helen focused on emergency and development programming in Eastern DRC. Prior experience also includes program management positions at Tearfund and Cord, where Helen led strategic initiatives and donor engagement across various contexts, including collaboration with USAID and DfID. Helen holds an MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies and a BA in English and French from the University of Sheffield.
