Brett Pierce

Brett Pierce is an accomplished author and senior advisor with extensive experience in child sponsorship and community development. Since November 2016, Brett has authored the book "Beyond the Vapour Trail," recognized as one of the 2016 books of the year by the ABR Australian Book Review. For World Vision International, Brett has held multiple roles since 2007, focusing on innovative programming and the transformative potential of child sponsorship. Previous experience includes consultancy work with International Needs Australia and Baptist World Aid Australia, where Brett provided strategic guidance on child sponsorship models. Brett's early career involved roles at World Vision Australia, contributing to program effectiveness and sponsorship management. Educational qualifications include a Master of International Community Development from Deakin University and a post-graduate certificate in Vocational Education and Training from Charles Sturt University.
