Liyanda Seither

Liyanda Seither is an experienced professional in international development, currently serving as Senior Coordinator Africa and Deputy Team Lead at World Vision since May 2016. With a strong background in program management and strategic planning for 19 countries across Africa, Liyanda leads a team of 13-16 staff members, shapes organizational strategies, and engages in donor liaison and project development. Previous roles include Regional Program Manager and Program Officer focused on project design and management in Kenya and Ethiopia, as well as positions in grant acquisition and support for various NGOs. Liyanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Economics and Development from the University of Bayreuth and has completed additional studies in food security and sustainability.
