Terence Yong

Terence Yong has over 30 years of work experience, starting as a Systems Manager at ACTUS Singapore Pte Ltd in 1986. Terence then worked at MTU Asia Pte Ltd for 25 years, where they held various roles including Senior Manager IT and Director, IT Solutions Asia. During their time at MTU, they developed the vision and strategy for implementing and supporting the SAP-based business solution. In 2011, Terence joined Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG as the Director of IT Infrastructure, where they were responsible for global IT infrastructure, server and storage, networks, service management, and business continuity. Terence also managed the SAP landscape and implemented ITIL themes for service management. Since 2017, Terence has been working at World Vision as the Global Director of Enterprise IT Services and Chief Technology Officer.

Terence Yong attended the University of Guelph from 1982 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer and Information Sciences as their major and Business Administration as their minor. Prior to that, from 1979 to 1980, they attended Anglo Chinese Junior College in Singapore. In terms of additional certifications, Terence obtained certifications in various areas such as digital business strategy, video editing, and IT strategy from institutions such as MIT Sloan School of Management and LinkedIn.
