Amy Bird

Amy Bird is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in editing, writing, and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Editor for World Vision USA since October 2020, Amy ensures the accuracy and coherence of over 1,000 marketing projects annually. Additionally, Amy contributes as a Freelance Writer for Concordia Publishing House, authoring "Lutheran Life," and previously held the role of Creative Account Executive at World Vision, where project leadership skills were honed. Earlier experience includes a Communication Specialist position at The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, where Amy developed comprehensive communication strategies. Coaching 7th and 8th grade girls' basketball and various internships further demonstrate a commitment to mentoring and leadership. Amy holds a Master of Arts in Systematic Theology from Concordia Seminary St. Louis and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Concordia University-Wisconsin.
