Daniel Metzke is a seasoned professional in sustainable business and climate impact research, currently serving as the Senior Manager for Sustainable Business and Markets at WWF Deutschland since April 2022, after holding the position of Manager in the same department. Previous experience includes a role as Research Staff on Planetary Boundaries at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research from March 2018 to April 2022, and an internship with the Deutsches Global Compact Netzwerk in 2017, contributing to the UN Global Compact initiative. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Water Resources Management from Cologne University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, along with a background as a professional soccer player.
