Alice Gillaroo

ALICE GILLAROO was born and raised in Southern California. She received her Master’s degree in social work from the University of Utah and proceeded to the position of Executive Director for 3 different non-profit organizations. As the founding director, she was challenged by the start-up tasks related to community organizing and organizational development. Upon her retirement, she continued to be actively involved in the non-profit sector volunteering as a board member for numerous causes including environmental protection, child abuse, Alzheimer’s disease, breast cancer and most recently served as the capital campaign chair for a senior low-income housing project.
