Cheryl Olseth

CHERYL OLSETH is director of the Olseth Family Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to improve community through support of the arts, education, the environment, and the underserved. The foundation works with WWF on several habitat conservation projects throughout North America’s Northern Great Plains, including preservation of the black-footed ferret and the swift fox, as well as bison management. An avid community activist and volunteer, Olseth serves on WWF’s National Council and Northern Great Plains advisory committee, the board of Planned Parenthood North Central States, the board of Friends of the Hennepin County Library and advisory boards for Climate Generation and The Advocates for Human Rights. She is a past board member of the Alzheimer’s Association. She holds a BA in biology from St. Olaf College and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
