Claire Jones

Claire Jones is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in environmental advocacy and marketing. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Communications for Forests at the World Wildlife Fund since March 2020, Claire has held significant roles in prestigious organizations such as the National Geographic Society, where responsibilities included Vice President of Marketing & Engagement and Director of Communications from January 2014 to September 2019. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Communications at the Jane Goodall Institute and Manager of Environmental Affairs at Gap Inc. Earlier in Claire's career, management roles at Burson-Marsteller contributed to a well-rounded communications skill set. Claire holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Environment from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and French from Middlebury College.
