Daniel Hornett, P.E. is a seasoned civil engineer currently serving as a Senior Program Officer for the Sustainable Infrastructure Initiative at the World Wildlife Fund since September 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Engineer for the County of Napa from April 2019 to September 2023, where responsibilities involved reviewing development plans for compliance with various regulations. Earlier roles encompass Junior Engineer and Co-Founder of The Lens, a platform for micro-documentaries, as well as serving as SPI Focal Point for Science Communication and Citizen Science for the UN Major Group for Children and Youth. Daniel's leadership experience includes serving as President of Engineers Without Borders USA, managing student-led international development projects. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
