Daniel Riley is an experienced leader in climate and renewable energy, currently serving as the Director of Climate and Renewable Energy at the World Wildlife Fund since January 2012. In this role, Daniel leads the Renewable Thermal Collaborative, a global coalition focused on enhancing renewable heating and cooling solutions while significantly reducing carbon emissions. Furthermore, Daniel has held various leadership positions at WWF, including Director and Deputy Director of International Corporate Climate Partnerships, where efforts centered on aiding large corporate energy buyers in multiple countries to address climate change. Prior experience includes roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury as an International Economist and at the U.S. Department of State as a Program Assistant. Daniel holds a Master of Arts in United States Foreign Policy from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Marquette University.
