ELISABETH MEEKER retired from the position of first vice president of financial portfolio management with Smith Barney. She graduated from DePauw University with a major in biology and zoology. She currently serves on the Women’s Board of the Field Museum, the Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley, and WWF’s Northern Great Plains Advisory Committee. She has served as a board member of The Wetlands Initiative, the Lincoln Park Zoo, DePauw University, Perspectives Charter School and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. She currently works in the Paleontology/Geology Department of the Field Museum, prepping dinosaur specimens and working on digs. She was fortunate to have worked with WWF in Bhutan and Namibia and is looking forward to doing more office and field work in additional countries.
