JAMES IKER is a managing partner at the JBG Companies. He is a member of JBG’s executive committee and investment committee and is responsible for various aspects of investment strategy, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing activity for the JBG Investment Funds. Prior to joining JBG in 2002, he co-founded and managed a real estate investment firm in Orange County, California. Iker serves as a board trustee for the Federal City Council and as a member of the Dean’s Council at the Yale School of Architecture. He also previously served as a member of the advisory board for the Urban Land Institute. Iker holds a BA from the University of Phoenix and an MBA with honors from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
