Melanie Kendra Gade is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in philanthropic partnerships and communications within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Director of Philanthropic Partnerships at the World Wildlife Fund since June 2016, Melanie has held various roles including Deputy Director and Manager of Climate & Energy Partnerships. Prior to this, Melanie was a Communications Specialist at Defenders of Wildlife, where initiatives focused on communications campaigns to influence key audiences. Earlier experience at the U.S. Geological Survey included roles as an Internal Communications Specialist and Public Affairs Specialist, leading employee engagement campaigns and crafting media materials.
