Simon James possesses extensive experience in environmental policy and project management, currently serving as the Public Sector Partnerships Coordinator at the World Wildlife Fund since March 2019. Previous roles include Climate Change and Energy Adviser at WWF-Vietnam and Senior Policy Officer at the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries in Queensland, where Simon developed policies for the forest industry. Additional experience encompasses a range of positions in organizations such as Oxfam Australia, The Center for Sustainable Rural Development, and the Solomon Islands Ministry of Finance and Treasury, focusing on climate change, sustainable agriculture, and transparency in extractive industries. Simon holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Law from Queensland University of Technology.
