TRENT PHILIPP is a member of the board of Reykjavik Geothermal (RG) and serves as regional director for the Americas with responsibility for projects, partnerships and initiatives across the region. He is also a founding partner of Ambata Capital Partners, a merchant bank focused on clean energy and sustainability. In this capacity, he led the investment in Reykjavik Geothermal as well as several advisory initiatives across renewables and sustainability. Prior to RG and Ambata, Philipp was head of sales for the UK and Ireland at Soleil Securities, an independent equity research and brokerage firm. He was also responsible for initiating investment banking efforts in the alternative energy sector. He is actively involved in conservation and nonprofit efforts focused on sustainability. Philipp has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Richmond and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business.
