Daryl Ragsdale

Director, Business Development at World Wind & Solar

Daryl Ragsdale has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Daryl began their career as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Kids Juke Box Inc. in 2003 and served in that role until 2007.

In 2007, Daryl joined YoNaturals Inc. as a Business Development professional, where they played a crucial role in driving revenue through the sale of natural/organic snacks and drinks vending machines. Daryl also worked on educating decision-makers about the features and benefits of the YoNaturals program, negotiating contracts for equipment placement, designing marketing materials, and providing customer service and support to distributors. Daryl stayed with YoNaturals Inc. until 2010.

Following their time at YoNaturals, Daryl worked at Media Allstars Inc. as a Sales Manager and Sales Trainer. In this position, they managed and trained a team of telesales agents to sell advertising space to small business owners. Daryl utilized sales analytics to track performance and optimize profitability. Daryl held this role in 2010.

In 2011, Daryl joined PES - Premier Energy Strategies as a Regional Sales Director. At PES, they helped medium to large electricity consumers reduce their energy costs and mitigate exposure to price swings in regulated and deregulated markets. Through a focused financial service approach, Daryl assisted clients in obtaining lower prices per unit of electricity used. Daryl worked at PES until 2012.

In the same year, Daryl transitioned to World Wind & Solar (WWS) as the Director of Business Development. Daryl established and maintained relationships with renewable industry partners, aiding them in the development, operation, and maintenance of utility-scale wind and solar projects across the US. Daryl collaborated with project owners, developers, OEMs, asset managers, and EPCs to provide professional manpower and critical services. Their work at WWS continued until an undisclosed date.

Most recently, Daryl has been involved with Pearce Renewables. Daryl first joined as the Vice President of Business Development in 2012 and later became the Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Pearce Renewables is a leading ISP for wind, solar, EV charging, and energy storage. Daryl played a pivotal role in acquiring best-in-class organizations and industry leaders to lead various units within Pearce Renewables. The range of services provided by the company includes commissioning, O&M, MCE, blade repair, repowering, and catastrophic repairs or rebuilds.

Daryl Ragsdale attended San Diego State University from 1994 to 1997, where they studied Exercise Physiology/Sports Medicine. Daryl did not obtain a degree during their time there. Additionally, they completed their general studies at the College of the Sequoias, where they obtained an AA and AS degree. No specific dates or duration are provided for their enrollment at the College of the Sequoias.
