Abhas Sureka

Abhas Sureka has an extensive work experience with various companies. Abhas is currently serving as the Head of Engineering - Cards Acquiring at Worldline since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Manager at FRISS from July 2021 to January 2022. From July 2019 to June 2021, they held the position of Global Development Manager at visualfabriq - AI Enhanced Revenue Management. Abhas also worked at HSBC as the Head of Engineering UK - Cards from August 2009 to June 2019. Before that, they were a Technical Lead at GE Capital from February 2008 to August 2009, and at Tech Mahindra from June 2007 to August 2009. Abhas started their career at Capgemini as a Software Engineer from July 2005 to June 2007.

Abhas Sureka obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Production Sandwich from COEP Technological University, which they attended from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications including Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) from Scrum.org in 2020, Professional Scrum Master (PSM) from Scrum.org in 2017, PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2015, and ITIL Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2014.
