Stefano Calderano

Stefano Calderano is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial services and merchant services sectors. Currently serving as the Country Manager for Italy at Worldline Merchant Services since January 2022, Stefano previously held the position of CEO at Worldline Italia. His prior roles include CEO at AXEPTA BNP Paribas and Jusp SPA, where Stefano focused on mobile payment solutions. Stefano also contributed as a Senior Advisor at Roland Berger, and as the Founder and Chairman of Gourmet Italy, a startup dedicated to e-commerce for artisanal Italian food products. His experience in the banking sector includes leadership roles at BNP Paribas and Intesa Sanpaolo, where Stefano managed significant retail banking operations. Stefano holds an MBA from IMD and a degree in Economics and Commerce from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
