Kathrina Wardrip

Kathrina Wardrip is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in major gifts and philanthropy. Currently serving as the Director of Major Gifts at Worldreader, an international nonprofit dedicated to providing digital reading resources to underserved children, Kathrina brings a strong background in development from previous roles at the California Academy of Sciences, where responsibilities included Leadership Gifts Officer and various positions within leadership philanthropy. Earlier experience includes business development at Marin Software and contributions as a linguistic transcriber at the International Computer Science Institute. Kathrina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley, where foundational research skills were developed as an undergraduate research assistant.
