Pradeep Kumar - Director, India Programs & Partnerships

Pradeep is the Director of Programs and Partnerships, and plays a significant role in advancing Worldreader’s work in India. He leads the expansion of Worldreader programs in India across many states in the government and affordable private school sectors.

Pradeep, an alumnus of the University of Delhi, has been working in the Indian development sector for over 22 years – managing education, protection and humanitarian programmes both in rural and urban settings – and has a deep understanding of at-risk communities, especially children and stakeholders around children.

Pradeep spends his time reading new books, watching new movies and series, playing badminton and cricket, and traveling to new locations with family.

One small but very interesting book that Pradeep would like to recommend is The Child’s Language and The Teacher by Krishna Kumar.
