Darryl Pietersen

Darryl Pietersen is an accomplished professional with significant experience in financial management and business leadership across Africa. Currently serving as the Director for Anglophone Africa at WorldRemit since September 2021, Darryl oversees strategic business and sales operations. Previously, Darryl held key roles at MoneyGram International, including Regional Head for South and East Africa and Interim Head of Anglophone Africa, where responsibilities included leading sales strategies across 17 countries. Darryl's earlier career included positions at Nedbank as an Associate in Corporate Investment Banking and as a Senior Financial Manager, focusing on financial operations and investment solutions. Darryl holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practices from Henley Business School and a Bachelor of Technology in Cost and Management Accounting from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
