Maria Navarro Alonso has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering field. Maria began their career in 2002 as a Technical Assistant for Construcciones Rubau S.A. In 2003, they became a Consultor (Civil Engineering Department) for Geocat. In 2006, they were promoted to Senior Consultant at Geocontrol S.A. In 2008, they took on the role of Head of Geotechnical/Monitoring Sections at Línia 9 Subway in Barcelona, where they were responsible for site management, construction supervision, geotechnical monitoring system control, economic control, and bill of Quantities. In 2014, they moved to e3Solinteg as a Principal Project Engineer and Investment Services Department-Barcelona City Council. In 2016, they became a Renewable Energy projects engineer as an Autónomo. Finally, in 2017, they joined Worldsensing as an Application Engineer and Technical Office Engineer.
Maria Navarro Alonso completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Engineering Geology from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 1998 and 2004. Maria then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering and Management in Renewable Energies from the IL3-Universitat de Barcelona from 2013 to 2014.
