Xavier Vilajosana

Xavier Vilajosana has held several roles in the technology industry. Xavier began their career in 2005 as an Assistant Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. In 2007, they were promoted to Full Professor and Director of the Wireless Networks Research Lab at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Xavier also held the role of Associate Professor at the same institution. In 2008, they became the CIO at WorldSensing S.L. In 2012, they took on a Visiting Professor role at UC Berkeley. Finally, in 2014, they were hired as a Senior Firmware Architect at Hewlett-Packard.

Xavier Vilajosana received their Doctor in Computer Science from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2009, after completing an Engineer in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 1998 and 2004.
