José Emelaar

José Emelaar is an experienced project manager currently working at WorldSkills Netherlands since December 2015, overseeing the Skills Heroes initiative. Previously, José held the position of project manager for Skills Heroes at MBO Raad, where responsibilities included leading communication projects for thisismbo.nl and mbostad. Prior experience includes roles as a communication advisor and project leader at MBO Raad since December 2003, and as a traffic/communication coordinator/project leader and account manager at Acoba from 2001 to 2003. José's career began at UWV as a secretary from 1986 to 2000. José holds education qualifications in Communication from institutions including ICM and Van der Hilst.
