Animesh Patel

Animesh Patel has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and laboratory work. Animesh started their career as a Science Technician at Darton High School, where they prepared chemicals, managed stock, and resolved technical issues with equipment. Animesh then volunteered at the University of Birmingham, where they maintained accurate records, prepared growth media, and performed various laboratory techniques. After that, they worked as a Technician at the University of Nottingham, where they prepared microbiological media and sterilized lab wares. Animesh then joined Quintiles as a Clinical Research Technician, where they prepared for clinical trials, performed medical procedures, and reported adverse events. Animesh also worked at Homerton University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Homerton University Hospital Foundation Trust as a Clinical Research Practitioner and Senior Clinical Research Practitioner, respectively. In these roles, they led clinical trials, liaised with sponsors and monitors, and ensured compliance with ethical requirements. At Novella Clinical, they worked as a Site File Specialist, overseeing site file maintenance, training staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Currently, Animesh is employed as a Team Lead for TMF Operations at Worldwide Clinical Trials.

Animesh Patel's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Pharmacology and Biotechnology from Sheffield Hallam University, which was obtained in 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from M.B.Patel Science college in 2006, and a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from N.V.Patel college of applied sciences in 2005. In addition to their formal education, Animesh Patel has obtained various certifications in healthcare leadership, cannulation, venepuncture, DAS28 training, and good clinical practice from institutions such as IHI, Elsevier clinical skills, and Barts Health NHS Trust. The certifications were acquired between 2015 and 2016.
