Doug Hertel Sphr

Doug Hertel, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has had an extensive career in human resources. Doug is currently working as the Human Resources Director at Worldwide Equipment, Inc. Doug'sprevious roles include being the Human Resources Manager at Red Stag Fulfillment and Michaels Stores, Inc., where they managed large teams and focused on areas such as staffing, retention, employee relations, compensation, safety, and vendor management. Doug also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Penn State University and as an HR Business Partner at DeAngelo Brothers, Inc., providing support to international businesses and the Asset Management Business Unit. Additionally, they served as the Human Resources Manager at DigitalBridge Communications, CVS Caremark Corporation, and SPRINT PCS/Independent Wireless One. Doug began their career as a Human Resources Consultant at Aetna, INC.

Doug Hertel, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management from Bryant University. Doug attended Bryant University from 1981 to 1985.

In addition to their formal education, Doug Hertel has obtained professional certifications. Doug obtained the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification from HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute) in 1993. Doug also obtained the SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional) certification from SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) in February 2015.
