Monica Baughman

Monica Baughman's work experience includes various roles at Worthington Libraries, starting in March 2002 as an Adult Services Librarian/Audio Visual Librarian. Monica then held positions as a Lead Librarian, Library Manager, Deputy Director, Director of Support Services, and Interim Director. Their most recent role at Worthington Libraries is Director of Support Services/Fiscal Officer, which they began in January 2020. In addition, they volunteered at Thurber House from 1998 until 2010. Prior to their career in libraries, Baughman worked as a Division Support Sales Assistant at Beneficial Mortgage Company of Ohio from January 1990 to January 2002.

Monica Baughman obtained their Bachelor's degree in English Professional Writing, Literature, and Children's Literature from Capital University, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. Monica further pursued their education at Kent State University, where they obtained a Master of Library and Information Science (M.L.I.S.) degree in the field of Library Science from 2000 to 2002.
